About Me

Mud & Mayhem is a small handmade studio creating snarky pottery, bold soaps, candles, and small-batch goods for people who like their everyday items with a little bite.

Everything here is made with personality, attitude, and a whole lot of love. From mugs that say what you’re thinking to handmade soaps packed with color, scent, and nostalgia, Mud & Mayhem is built around the idea that handmade goods should feel fun, real, expressive, and never boring.

This shop is for the loud ones, the weird ones, the soft-hearted rage-sippers, the plant people, the queer joy celebrators, the soap sniffers, the statement mug collectors, and anyone who has ever looked at a perfectly polite gift and thought, “Absolutely not.”

Mud & Mayhem was also born from something deeper: the belief that creative spaces should make people feel free, not judged. After spending time in a space where what I made was questioned, criticized, and treated like it was “wrong” simply because it didn’t fit someone else’s idea of acceptable, I knew I wanted to build something different.

I’m building a studio with no gatekeeping — a place where people can make expressive, meaningful, weird, funny, sweary, beautiful things without being made to feel small for it. Whether someone wants to put flowers on a mug, the f-bomb on a mug, or their whole damn personality into a piece, there should be room for that.

Each piece is made in small batches, which means no two items are exactly alike. Slight variations are part of the charm, because handmade should look and feel like it came from actual human hands — not a soulless factory line.

At its heart, Mud & Mayhem is about making everyday things feel more personal, more joyful, and a little more unhinged — while creating space for people to express themselves fully and without apology.
