Mud & Mayhem Pottery Studio is an inclusive community ceramics space in Coos Bay, Oregon, created for artists who want room to experiment, build their skills, and make art without the gatekeeping.

Whether you are brand new to clay, looking for a regular place to create, or ready to become part of the studio collective, there is a place for you here.

MUD CURIOUS

$70 per month

Perfect for beginners, casual makers, and anyone who wants to get their hands dirty without committing to full studio access.

Membership includes:

  • Two scheduled pottery sessions each month
  • Clay included
  • Use of shared studio tools and equipment
  • Access to a selection of studio glazes
  • Bisque and glaze firing included
  • Discounts on classes and workshops

Limited to 15 members.

MUD COMMITTED

$130 per month

For ceramic artists who want regular studio access, room to work, and the tools to keep creating.

Membership includes:

  • Access during scheduled open-studio hours
  • Use of shared wheels, tools, equipment, and workspace
  • Designated storage for works in progress
  • Access to a selection of studio glazes
  • Bisque and glaze firing included
  • Discounts on classes and workshops
  • Studio clay available for purchase at a discount

Limited to 15 members.


MUD COLLECTIVE

$200 per month

For working ceramic artists who want dedicated space, expanded access, and a bigger role in the studio community.

Membership includes:

  • A more private dedicated collective workspace
  • Expanded studio access/hours
  • Additional storage for tools and ongoing work
  • Access to a selection of studio glazes
  • Bisque and glaze firing included
  • Discounts on classes and workshops
  • Opportunity to sell your work in house and online

Mud Collective have the opportunity to teach workshops, earn additional income, and share their skills with the studio community.

Application required. Only four spaces available.

 

CLASSES & WORKSHOPS

Mud & Mayhem will offer pottery classes, artist-led workshops, creative play days, and special events throughout the year.

Classes and workshops will be open to both members and non-members unless otherwise noted.

Studio members receive discounted class and workshop pricing.

Mud Collective may also have opportunities to teach workshops and earn additional income by sharing their skills with the studio community.
